TODAY’S THOUGHT

Freedom—real freedom—is one of the greatest gifts we have in Christ. Through His death, burial, and resurrection, Jesus broke the power of sin and its penalty over our lives.

But freedom from sin does not mean freedom to sin. Jesus did not shed His blood so we could live like the world lives. He set us free so we could live in a way that honors Him—free from selfishness, pride, materialism, lust, greed, jealousy, drunkenness, anger, addiction, and every other trap that would keep us bound in destruction.

True freedom means the chains are gone—our hearts are no longer slaves to the flesh but surrendered to the Spirit of God. It means guilt no longer rules us, because sin no longer has dominion over us.

When the Holy Spirit fills us, He replaces old desires with new ones. He stirs a longing to please God that overpowers the pull of the flesh. This is the life we were meant to live—free, joyful, and Spirit-led.

Don’t just be free—stay free, live free, and fight for your freedom every single day.

TODAY’S PRAYER

Holy Spirit, take complete control of my life. Guard my heart from drifting back into old patterns. Replace my desires with Yours. Help me walk daily in the freedom Jesus died to give me freedom, so that Your life may be fully lived through me.
