TODAY’S THOUGHT
Here is a great thought—we are conductors not generators!
The Holy Spirit is our powerful generator. He produces all the power we need to live our lives. He lives inside of us wanting to release that power through us to our world. We are His chosen conductors to deliver God’s power to a world trapped in darkness.
The darkness is great because the world has no power to turn on their lights. Satan has intentionally blinded their eyes so they can’t see the truth. The Holy Spirit within us wants to shine His light into the darkness of our world. The only way that light will shine is when we begin to release His light through our lives.
Every time we show love and care to another human, we are releasing light. When we pause from our schedule and activity to listen and pray for another person we shine light.
The key is to be sure we stay connected. If the light bulb is not screwed into the socket, it will not shine. It may have all the right pieces but without being connected to the power source it is useless.
