RELEASING GOD’S GRACE

The Father loves his Son and has put everything into his hands. And anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgment.”

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Our belief releases God’s grace. God’s grace releases transformation.
We must believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus died on the cross to pay the price for our sins. Jesus rose from the dead victorious over death, hell, and the grave. That the resurrection proved that Jesus was and is the Son of God, King of kings, and Lord of all.
Once we decide to believe in Jesus by faith then God’s grace is released into our lives. Grace is the undeserved favor of God. God’s grace is what empowers with the desire and ability to please God.
Our flesh has little desire to please God and live a holy life. The flesh is all about what feels good right now. The flesh does not like delayed gratification. We want to feel good right NOW! But God’s grace helps us crucify the flesh and learn the value of living free from the bondage of sin, selfishness, and the lust of the flesh.
God’s grace releases eternal life into us at this very moment. This is not something we just get when we die, this eternal life is the life of God that comes into our lives right now. This eternal life transforms the way we think, the way we act, and the desires of our heart.
When our thinking and desires are in proper alignment with God then our behavior is transformed. We act and talk different because we are different from the inside out.
I believe this work of grace is not a onetime event but a daily work in our lives. As long as we are on this side of eternity, we will continue to needs God’s grace to work in us shaping us into the image of Christ.
TODAY’S PRAYER
Holy Spirit please release more grace into my life today. I believe that Jesus died for me and is my Lord and Savior. I need grace to live today.
