WELL DONE!
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
The master was full of praise. “Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together! “
Matthew 25:21 NLT
TODAY’S THOUGHT
There are some people who live their lives for the applause of people. They allow the opinions of others to determine their self-worth. Their mood is determined by how many likes they get on their latest social media post.
Some people measure their success in life by the toys, treasure, and trophies they accumulate. If it has a dollar value, then they give it value.
Others may define success by their educational achievements. Getting more degrees gives them a sense of superiority over the uneducated.
In the kingdom of God our success is measured by one thing, faithfulness. Were we faithful to the purpose for which God placed us on earth?
I can’t measure myself by other people. I have been given by God a unique set of gifts, talents, and abilities. My self-worth is based on whether I have been faithful to use those unique abilities to fulfill God’s purpose for my life.
The goal of life is to hear our Master say, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
What are you doing today to show that you are faithful to the calling God has put on your life?
TODAY’S PRAYER
Holy Spirit help me to discover the gifts and abilities You have put in me. Show me how to use those unique gifts to further Your kingdom on this earth.
