TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

TODAY’S THOUGHT
I often watch programs and sports events after they have happened. I enjoy American football and often record games I want to watch and schedule a time to watch them--usually later that same day.
Some time back I was recording a game when someone I was with announced the final score--they were tracking it on their phone. Later that night I sat down to watch a very close and intense game. Through all the tension of the final moments I was excited because I knew the outcome--my team was going to win.
Jesus tells us this life is going to have difficulties and struggles--but He already told us the final score.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Holy Spirit remind me today that we win. Help me to see past today's problems to the victory that is mine through Jesus. Give me the courage to follow Jesus even through the storms.
