THE VERTICAL PERSPECTIVE
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself.”
Ephesians 1:23 NLT
TODAY’S THOUGHT
If Christ is seated at the right hand of God and we are the body of Christ, then we are seated at the right hand of God as well. We should begin to recognize we are spiritually seated with Jesus right now. We should look at life from the perspective of already being seated with Christ.
The Comparison
The Horizontal View (From Earth) | The Vertical View (From the Seat) |

Asks, "How will I survive this?" | Declares, "How will God use this?" |
Feels like a victim of circumstances. | Acts as an ambassador of the Kingdom. |

The 2-Minute Recalibration
Identify one "Earthly Stressor" (a bill, a conflict, a health report) and run it through these three steps:
1. Elevate the Issue In your mind, take that problem and place it at the feet of Jesus, where you are currently seated with Him. Does that problem look bigger or smaller than the One sitting on the throne?
The Reality: "He is far above any ruler or authority..." (Eph 1:21)
2. Audit the Authority Does this problem have the final say over your identity or your future?
The Reality: If you are "seated with Him," you are looking down on the problem, not up at it. You have the authority to speak peace into that situation.
3. Declare the "Example" Tell yourself: "eI am an example of God’s kindness. God is going to use my victory in this situation to show off His grace to the world."
TODAY’S PRAYER (AFFIRMATION)
"I refuse to be overwhelmed by what is under my feet. I am seated with Christ. I have a vertical perspective. I am not fighting for victory; I am resting in the One who has already won. Amen."
