GOD IS INTERESTED IN US
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Faith has two foundation stones—a belief in the existence of God and a belief that God is interested in working in our lives.
Some people believe that God exist, but they question whether He has any interest in humanity. Their view is of a God Who lives way off somewhere else and doesn’t want to be troubled by us humans.
Others believe God is interested in helping some special people. These would be the people that have been especially good living a life of philanthropy. However, since I’m not that good or special, I could easily assume that God is not interested in listening to my needs.
The fact is the God of the Bible is always interested in working in and through people. Our God listens to our prayers. Our God hurts when we hurt. Our God understands our suffering and our weakness. He wants to work with us and for us.
When we seek God’s will and purpose in our lives, we can approach His presence with confidence. We can share with God the needs of our hearts. This is the foundation of our prayer lives. We believe that God exist and that He is interested in working in and through us.
TODAY’S PRAYER
Heavenly Father I come in Jesus’ name. I thank You that You are always available to me. You are my loving Father. Today I invite You to work in and through my life. Help me to walk in obedience to You so that Your will can be done in and through me.
