MAINTAIN INTEGRITY

TODAY’S THOUGHT

For the past few days, we have discussed how to partner with God to receive His provision in our lives. We addressed the need to first, ask Him for help. We can’t think we can do it all by ourselves, we need His help, and He wants us to ask.

Secondly, we must learn to be content in the provision He has given us. Remember, there is big difference between contentment and complacency.

Then we learned to practice giving. It is a universal law that we reap what we sow. You can’t reap without sowing. We give in faith because the giving is our seed for our supply.

Today we focus on the fourth step in our process of partnering with God for our provision. We must maintain our integrity. The Bible is clear, “The Lord demands accurate scales and balances; he sets the standards for fairness.” (Prov 16:11 NLT). 

God does not bless dishonesty. God does not bless those who cheat or abuse others to achieve personal gain. God wants to bless us, but our lack of integrity can block God’s willingness to bless us.

The Bible is very clear about what God’s blessings can do for us, “The blessing of the Lord makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.” (Proverbs 10:22 NLT)

God wants to bless us when we: 1. Ask for His help; 2. Learn to be content; 3. Practice giving in faith; and 4. Maintain our integrity.

TODAY’S PRAYER

Holy Spirit show me the steps I need to take to experience Your blessings in my life. Help me to partner with You for my provisions each day. Thank you for supplying all my need.
