LIVE IN GOD’S LOVE
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him. For he knows how weak we are; he remembers we are only dust.

TODAY’S THOUGHT
God knows everything about us. He knows our fear, frustrations, and failures. Yet, God still loves us.
I became a father on November 11, 1984, and then again on March 31, 1987. My understanding of love took on a new meaning when I was blessed with two sons. There is absolutely nothing my sons can do that would stop me from loving them.
I know my sons are not perfect—they have me for a father so what hope do they have. However, their perfection is not the basis of my love. I choose to love them and think the best of them.
That does not mean I never disciplined my children. There were times when their choices demanded consequences. But those consequences were given from a heart of love knowing those choices would hinder them in the future if they continued.
Your Heavenly Father loves you. He will always love you. When you choose to fear and obey Him there will be tenderness and compassion. But if you rebel and hide, please understand that there will be consequences.
Trust in God’s love. Reject the condemnation and guilt of the enemy. Live in love!
TODAY’S PRAYER
Holy Spirit help me today to live in Your love. Help me to trust in You. Help me to walk in alignment with Your plan for my life.
