GOD IS OUR HELPER!
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?”

TODAY’S THOUGHT
God has given us a promise that He will never abandon us. God will always fight for us. He is our helper, so we don’t have to fear what people say or do because we have God as our helper.
This is a passage of scripture we need to be sure is in our memory bank. When fear tries to infiltrate our thinking, we need to remind ourselves that God is our helper, and He will never abandon us.
To me, this is like having a big brother when you are in school. Whenever someone would try to pick on you, your big brother would step in and be your helper. He would immediately stand up for you.
There have been moments in my life when God seemed to place the right person at the right time to be His helper for me. I believe it was God staying true to His Word by giving me the right person at the right moment to take up my cause.
There are moments when we may feel like people have abandoned us, but in those moments, we need to remind ourselves that God is still with us and for us.
Even when we fail, God doesn’t. He knows we are imperfect and weak. His grace and mercy will be there for us in our times of struggle!
