TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Almost every year I begin the year with a list of goals or resolutions for that year. Often, I am disappointed by March 15 that my list of goals has been forgotten. All the time thinking and writing down my goals was wasted because I tend to fall back into my old habits.
You’ve done this too, right? You’ve decided, perhaps even declared, that you were going to change.
*This year I’m going to eat healthily and exercise every day!
*I’m going to stop dating anyone who is mean to me. In fact, I’m not going to date at all!
*I’m tired of wasting my time on social media and comparing my life with everyone else’s. I’m getting off for good this time!
*That’s it. This is the last time. I will never look at pornography again!
*I’m not going to exaggerate or lie or gossip to get attention or feel better about myself. No more!
*I’m going to read the Bible every morning this whole year!
These are all great goals. The problem is that rarely do we achieve new goals by simply writing them down.
Our thinking must change before we take necessary steps to fulfill God-given goals. We have to replace our thoughts with God’s thoughts.
God’s thought about any situations in our lives is found in the Word of God. The Bible is our source of wisdom. Learning the Bible is how we change our brain waves. This is how to correct the lies of Satan and turn our lives in the right direction.
We must allow the Holy Spirit to transform our minds with God’s Word. A transformed mind will spot the lies of Satan and allow us to replace them with God thoughts.
TODAY’S PRAYER
Holy Spirit please take God’s Word and show me areas that need changing in my life. Help me to have a transformed mind that spots Satan’s lies and replaces them with Your truth.
