THE LORD IS FOR ME!

In my distress I prayed to the Lord, and the Lord answered me and set me free. The Lord is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?

TODAY’S THOUGHT
“The Lord is for me”—what a powerful statement for us to remember. God is for us; He is not against us! Satan’s lie is to make us think that God if against us. He is withholding something from us. But the truth is that God is for us—He proved that by sending His Son, Jesus, to come and die in our place on the cross. God is for us today—in the middle of our fear, anxiety, addiction, depression, brokenness, boredom, lack, failure, sin, and uncertainty. God is for us. The breakthrough begins when we pray to the Lord. It happens when we decide to open a conversation with God. Instead of trying to hide from God, we open ourselves to His love and presence. This causes the breakthrough to begin. Trying to hide from God never works. Let’s be honest with ourselves and with God. Tell Him where we are struggling and be ready for Him to step into our struggle.
TODAY’S PRAYER
Holy Spirit, I need You today in my life. I need You to teach me and guide me. I am weak, but You are strong. Guide me through my storm.
