PRAISE GOD FOR ALL THAT HE HAS DONE

ree

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!”

Psalm 103:1-5 NLT

TODAY’S THOUGHT

The later psalms emphasize praising God—not just for what He does, but for who He is. In this passage, David gives us some practical ways to praise the Lord with our whole heart.

1. Praise Him for His Holiness

Our God is holy—completely pure, without flaw, and perfect in all His ways. There is no shadow, no inconsistency, and no failure in Him. He is worthy of our worship because He is set apart from everything else.

2. Praise Him for Forgiveness

God forgives all our sins—not because we earned it, but because of His mercy and grace. While we were still sinners, God loved us enough to send His Son to die in our place. Every time we remember our forgiveness; it should lead us back to praise.

3. Praise Him for Healing

David declares that God “heals all our diseases.” Through the cross, Jesus not only paid the price for our sins but also brought healing to every part of us—body, mind, and spirit. Whether it’s physical illness, emotional wounds, mental battles, or spiritual brokenness, His stripes bring wholeness.

4. Praise Him for His Provision

God “fills our lives with good things.” Every blessing we enjoy—the home we live in, the food we eat, the clothes we wear, the strength to work and earn—comes from His hand. He is the source of every good thing in our lives.

Sometimes the best way to stir up praise is to remember specific blessings. Make a list today of what He has done for you. Personally, I remember 38 years ago when God healed our two-year-old son after doctors feared he had leukemia. I think of when God healed me from internal bleeding that nearly took my life. Time and again, I’ve seen His mercy and goodness.

I can never thank Him enough.

TODAY’S PRAYER

Heavenly Father, today I lift my whole heart in praise to You. Thank You for Your grace and mercy that forgives, heals, and redeems me. Thank You for the countless blessings You’ve placed in my life. May I never forget Your goodness. Amen.
